You can get to Kelingking Beach by catching a fast boat from Sanur on Bali. Many companies offer this service and you can book it on Klook. I recommend booking the direct option that goes straight from Bali to Nusa Penida without stopping in Lembongan. It’s slightly more expensive but it saves you a lot of time and hassle!
Angel’s Billabong
If you’re an adventurous traveller looking for endless incredible viewpoints (and Instagram photo ops, ugh) then Nusa Penida is the place for you. It’s a relatively undeveloped island that offers stunning scenery and outdoor adventures that you can’t find in Bali. Rented scooters are widely available for tourists and the best way to get around. Alternatively, you can book a tour with a driver to visit multiple spots safely and in comfort.
Angel’s Billabong is an incredible rock formation on the southwestern edge of Nusa Penida’s cliffs that creates a natural infinity pool. It’s a popular spot for visitors, but it’s only safe to swim at low tide. The water from the open ocean can be very rough, so if you’re planning to come here, make sure to check the tide schedule before visiting.
The pool’s unique geology makes it different from other tidal pools as the bottom is made of flat rocks, not sand. It also shows off 50 shades of beautiful blue and is a stunning sight to behold. Beware of the sharp rocks, however, as they can be slippery.
Crystal Bay
The crystal clear waters of Crystal Bay are home to a colorful array of marine life. You can rent snorkeling gear from one of the many warungs on the beach and see for yourself why this is one of Nusa Penida’s top spots to explore the underwater world.

There’s also a Hindu temple on the small island in front of the beach, but I’ve never seen anyone go there so it may be off limits to tourists. Afterward, head over to the renowned spot known as Manta Point, where you can swim with giant manta rays. It’s the highlight of many Nusa Penida tours.
Goa Giri Putri Temple
